Job summary

Peak Living is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to keep our apartment communities in top condition and deliver excellent resident service in Ohio. You will supervise maintenance staff, coordinate preventive tasks, and ensure work stays within budget.

Typical duties include scheduling, training, safety compliance, coordinating with the Community Manager, and responding to service requests within 24 hours. A valid driver’s license and basic HVAC knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on knowledge of apartment maintenance tasks.
• Leadership skills and ability to interact with customers/residents.
• Basic HVAC knowledge; obtain CFC certification within 90 days of start date.
• Minimum of 1 year as Maintenance Supervisor or 6 months as an assistant with Peak Living.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist Community Manager in staffing decisions and performance management.
• Teach skills to staff members.
• Schedule work and coordinate preventive maintenance programs.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure clean common areas.
• Perform preventive maintenance on pools, parking lots, and building exteriors.
• Recommend capital improvements as needed.
• Respond to service requests within 24 hours.
• Inspect properties and ensure quality maintenance across communities.
• Order parts and manage supplies for repairs.
• Educate staff on safety, OSHA guidelines, and Peak Living safety bulletin.
