Job summary

Kittle Property Group in Kansas City, MO is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for curb appeal, physical maintenance and daily supervision of site personnel.

You will monitor expenses, perform morning grounds inspections, prepare vacant units for occupancy, and coordinate with contractors to maintain landscaping and common areas. A high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of experience are preferred; HVAC/EPA certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of experience.
• HVAC/EPA certification preferred.
• Reads, writes, speaks and interprets basic instructions and simple correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic math and interpret graphs.
• Follow detailed instructions with common sense.
• Beginner experience with MS Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Monitor maintenance expenses and keep below budget.
• Inspect community grounds each morning.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities.
• Maintain landscaping, bushes, trees and lawn.
• Coordinate with contractors and supervise on-site work.
• Provide emergency resident support after hours.
• Maintain records of maintenance performed.
