Job summary

UMH Properties, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the Sandy Valley Estates to manage groundskeeping and maintenance across the community and its homes.

You will lead the maintenance team, coordinate tasks, and ensure safety and quality standards are met throughout daily operations. The role involves supervising staff, working with contractors, and performing repairs while upholding UMH’s standards.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Experience in home repairs, general plumbing, grounds maintenance and operation of heavy equipment.
• Snow plow experience.
• Ability to prioritize safety and attend periodic safety trainings.

Responsibilities

• Oversees maintenance team and coordinates tasks with Community Manager.
• Inspects common areas and coordinates with staff and subcontractors.
• Repairs and maintains community-owned homes and lots; maintains grounds.
• Trains and coaches staff in maintenance and seasonal positions.
• Keeps logs of all work performed and ensures safety procedures are followed.
