Symrise is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance department, including building and machine upkeep, safety and reporting. You will train and evaluate staff, stay current with regulations, and ensure quality workmanship while collaborating with other departments.

The role requires 2+ years of supervisory experience and 3–5 years of maintenance work, ideally in a food plant. Monett, Missouri area residents encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Has minimum of 2 years previous supervisory/leadership experience; food plant experience preferred.
• Has 3–5 years maintenance experience; food plant maintenance preferred.
• Safety oriented mindset.
• Understands all aspects of the maintenance department and job requirements.
• Vocational training or related job experience preferred.
• Acquires and applies professional/technical knowledge as needed.
• Bilingual Spanish would be helpful.
• Must live near area (Monett, Missouri).
• High School Degree or equivalent required.

Responsabilités

• Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of the maintenance personnel.
• Keeps up-to-date with advances in computer applications and instrumentation.
• Maintains knowledge of federal, state and local regulations.
• Prepares and maintains documentation of machinery; records and analyzes data using computer software and prepares reports.
• Ensures proper maintenance of facility machinery and building; inspects work in progress and completion for workmanship and safety.
• Develops and maintains good interpersonal relationships between Maintenance and other departments.
• Communicates departmental activities (scheduling, performance, safety and quality) daily.
• Maintains communication with Department Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.
