Job summary

The French's Food Company, a Springfield, MO plant and subsidiary of McCormick & Company, is seeking a full-time Maintenance Lead to manage predictive, preventive and proactive maintenance programs. You will lead a maintenance team, drive reliability improvements, and coordinate resources to reduce losses while ensuring safety and sanitation standards.

Reporting to the Maintenance Team Manager, the role requires strong problem-solving skills, leadership, and the ability to work extended shifts

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• it is required to have maintenance and manufacturing experience.
• Familiarity with CMMS (Maximo) and SAP.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Willingness to work overtime/weekends.
• Ability to investigate and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop direct reports and foster a team environment.
• Meet or exceed goals on safety, sanitation, cost and quality.
• Support and develop cross-functional teams and information flow.
• Lead problem solving and continuous improvement (PDCA, 5Why, A3).
• Coordinate daily shift activities, parts/settings changes, downtime, and work orders.
• Ensure safety training and compliance for direct reports; drive action from work orders.
• Coordinate technicians and contract resources to meet objectives and reduce losses.
