Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor (Finance) in Texas. This role oversees maintenance operations to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance across the community, supervising maintenance staff, coordinating repairs, and managing scheduled preventive maintenance.

You will supervise HVAC, elevators, fire and sprinkler systems, generators, and building infrastructure; require a high school diploma or GED and 1-2 years related experience, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1–2 years related experience and/or training.
• Valid State Driver's License required for vehicle travel.

Responsibilities

• Supervises scheduled maintenance on HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generator, landscape, kitchen equipment, and emergency pull cord equipment.
• Responds to maintenance requests by residents for items needing repair in rooms, including plumbing, electrical, heating and light bulbs.
• Supervises repairs and maintains vacated rooms; inspects work for conformance to standards and policies.
• Maintains common areas including walls, floors, doors, and woodwork.
• Mentors maintenance staff and coordinates training.
• Communicates with local inspectors and authorities as needed.
• Conducts in-service fire safety training for all employees.
