Care Initiatives is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our maintenance team across our Iowa communities. The role involves hands-on upkeep, preventive maintenance, and ensuring a safe living environment for residents.

Responsibilities include monitoring building systems, assisting with HVAC checks, and collaborating with housekeeping and facilities staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• Hands-on work experience in maintenance or facilities management.
• Ability to provide good customer service to residents.
• Experience with routine preventive maintenance and basic repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks per skills and regulations.
• Monitor equipment and perform preventive/corrective maintenance.
• Assist in heating/cooling system checks and repairs.
• Assist housekeeping with heavy floor care and cleaning.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Keep walkways safe and perform snow/ice removal.
• Maintain lawn and landscaping.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, codes, and MSDS.
