Job summary

Care Initiatives is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead hands-on maintenance across our Iowa communities in a full-time daytime role. You will help keep facilities safe, functional, and welcoming for residents.

You will oversee preventive maintenance, assist with HVAC and general systems, and coordinate with housekeeping to maintain a home-like environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience
• Ability to create and maintain a home-like atmosphere
• Proficiency with basic repair work and tools
• Commitment to resident service and safety

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks as needed in accordance with facility policy
• Monitor equipment condition and perform preventive/corrective maintenance
• Assist with heating/cooling system operations and report issues
• Assist housekeeping with heavy floor care and cleaning
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies
• Keep outside walkways safe and manage snow/ice removal
• Ensure repairs comply with applicable procedures, codes, and laws
