Job summary

Savage is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Pueblo, CO to lead the maintenance team at the Comanche Material Handling operation. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining machinery within the coal supply chain, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in maintenance supervision, strong knowledge of conveyor systems and heavy equipment, and experience with preventative maintenance and CMMS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or greater (degree preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with bulk materials, conveyors, and heavy equipment
• Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role, preferably maintenance
• Background in Preventative Maintenance and Mechanical Reliability
• Experience operating heavy equipment and PLC systems
• Knowledge of safety regulations and risk management

Responsibilities

• Ensure all team members follow safety rules and procedures
• Write and revise maintenance procedures as needed
• Oversee development and execution of weekly maintenance schedule
• Supervise daily maintenance activities and workforce
• Assist in training of team members in maintenance techniques
• Lead preventative maintenance practices
• Maintain the CMMS for parts, orders, and schedules
• Manage spare parts inventory to prevent delays
• Perform daily inspections and maintenance audits
• Communicate with the customer professionally
• Plan maintenance activities with operations to support production plans
