Job summary

ARDEX Americas is hiring an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team and support operations at Center Township, PA. You will drive preventive maintenance, oversee staffing and tools, and promote safety and continuous improvement across the facility.

You will develop skills in troubleshooting plant equipment, coordinate with engineering on capital projects and budgets, and ensure housekeeping and compliance. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and lead a team.
• Experience in electrical control/instrumentation troubleshooting and repair.
• Read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve e-maintenance processes, PM, work orders and inventory.
• Ensure staffing, tools and equipment meet maintenance needs.
• Develop skills of team members for troubleshooting plant equipment.
• Manage priorities across plant areas and maintain process knowledge.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with engineering on capital projects and budgets.
• Review timesheets and PTO for employees.

ARDEX Americas ( http://www.ArdexAmericas.com )is hiring an experienced and motivated MaintenanceSupervisor to lead our maintenance team and support theoperation of our manufacturing facility located at 400 ARDEX ParkDrive, Center Twp., PA 15001.

As Maintenance Supervisor, you willpossess strongleadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment tomaintaining equipment reliability while promoting a culture of safetyand continuous improvement.

What You’ll do:

• Develop, maintain and improve e-maintenance processes such aspreventive maintenance, work order and spare parts inventory.
• Ensure the maintenance department has the necessary staffing,tools, and equipment required to fulfill its mission.
• Develop individual skills of Team Members necessary for effectivetroubleshooting of plant equipment.
• Manage immediate and long-term priorities of specific areas in the plant.
• Develop and maintain an elevated level of process knowledge.
• Maintain the highest level of housekeeping at work sites.
• Liaison with engineering on capital projects
• Support other plant locations with technical issues - willpotentially require travel.
• Work with Plant Manager and engineering on Capital and Maintenance Budget.
• Review and approve time sheets and PTO for regular and temporary employees.
• Maintain the highest level of safety and environmental awareness.
• Conduct Safety Audits and Safety Investigations when necessary.
• Process and Conduct Employee Performance Evaluations.

Experience and Skills:

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience preferred.
• The ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Experience in electrical control/instrumentationtroubleshooting and repair.
• Solid Leadership and Communication Skills (Written and Verbal)
• Ability to Train and Develop Maintenance Technicians andMaintenance Team
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, and piping,variable speed drives and computers.
• Demonstrates good mechanical or hands-on skills.
• Good critical thinking skills.
• Self-starter and ability to work in a fast-paced warehouseenvironment and in various temperatures.
• Excellent listening skills and the ability to follow directions.
• Experience and Ability to read and understand electricschematics and blueprints (preferred)

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, Basic Lean 5S andleadership related training preferred
• Must be able to repetitively lift 55 pounds.
• Must be able to ascend and descend stairs on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time,occasionally kneeling and bending.
• Forklift and hand truck experience required
