Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team in scheduling daily maintenance and PM tasks, while supporting strategic investments aligned with HeidelbergCement objectives. You will report to the Mechanical Maintenance Manager and ensure safe, efficient operations.

You will supervise maintenance staff, coordinate planning, and drive reliability improvements on large rotating machinery.

Qualifications

• 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience including 1-2 years in supervision
• Experience with large rotating heavy industry machinery
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Ability to work in confined spaces and lift up to 50 lbs; available for off-shift and weekend coverage

Job description

Supervise a team of Crafts persons to execute daily maintenance tasks and PM check sheets. Support investment projects aligned with HeidelbergCement strategy. Report directly to the Mechanical Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities

What We Are Looking For

5 years of mechanical maintenance experience including 1-2 years in supervision, or equivalent training/education.

Experience with large rotating heavy industry machinery.

Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

Ability to work in confined spaces and lift up to 50 lbs; available for off-shift and weekend coverage.

Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:00pm, additional hours may be required per business needs

Participation in bi-weekly on-call program for after-hours maintenance support.
