Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a maintenance supervisor in Nazareth, PA to lead daily maintenance activities, ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and maximize equipment reliability across a heavy industrial plant. You will plan parts, coordinate with contractors, schedule preventive and corrective work, coach staff, and partner with operations to resolve issues and boost plant efficiency.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is required,

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of experience leading or supervising maintenance personnel in a heavy industrial, manufacturing, mining, power generation, oil & gas, or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
• Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate maintenance work with operations to minimize downtime.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Job description

Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements while maintaining accurate maintenance records.

Lead and coordinate daily maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability, safety, and operational performance.

Plan,identifyand order parts, create scope of work to quote with contractors,coordinateand supervise contractors.

Coach, support, and develop maintenance team members while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Computer skills,conduct professionalemailcommunications, use of Microsoft Office, SAP PM,AutoCAD,knows andunderstandshow to read mechanical& hydraulicdiagrams& blueprints.

Primarily works in a plant or heavy industrial environment with regular exposure to moving equipment, varying weather conditions, noise, dust, and vibration.

Requires walking, standing, climbing stairs and ladders, and conducting inspections throughout the facility.

Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) isrequired.

May berequiredto work extended hours, weekends, or respond to operationalneedsas necessary.
