Job summary

Greystar is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to ensure clean, safe, and well-maintained apartments and common areas. You’ll diagnose issues, perform repairs, and manage make-ready tasks for new move-ins.

Ideal candidates have property maintenance experience, EPA HVAC certs, tools, and strong customer service. A valid driver’s license and the ability to work flexible hours are required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED or related experience.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade is preferred.
• Must provide own hand tools unless prohibited by state law and be proficient with hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring devices.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to interact with residents, team members, and management.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and perform routine maintenance per policy and safety standards.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and coordinating vendors.
• Maintain standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, interiors, and common areas.
• Inspect work of team members and contractors; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and assist in budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
