Job summary

Avanath Capital (Danville, CA) is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance staff and vendors, ensuring quality move-ins, timely service, and appealing curb appeal. You will partner with the Community Manager to manage daily operations and uphold Avanath standards across communities.

The role requires at least 3 years in multifamily maintenance, 1 year of supervisory experience, and a strong customer-service mindset. Availability for on-call and weekend work is expected.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of multifamily property maintenance experience.
• One year of supervisory experience required.
• HVAC and CPO certifications are highly desired.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Very strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Solid interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Must be available for on-call and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates customer service skills by treating residents and others with respect, answering questions, and assigning work orders with efficiency and urgency.
• Projects a favorable image of the community to achieve property objectives.
• Ensure consistency, follow-up, and follow-through in dealing with residents on all matters.
• Enforce policies of the community as delegated by the Community Manager.
• Assist and complete work orders generated from resident requests and routine upkeep, diagnosing defects and making repairs.
