Job summary

Madison Communities is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead on-site maintenance across properties, tackling electrical and plumbing challenges and directing a skilled team to maintain high service standards.

The ideal candidate will have EPA and CPO certifications, hands-on expertise in carpentry and mechanical systems, and a strong focus on safety and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and construction.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve challenges.
• EPA Certification and Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification (required).
• Strong supervisory experience, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a resident-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of property maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• Plan and oversee the maintenance budget, ensuring operations stay within financial guidelines.
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe shop areas, with adequate levels of replacement parts and tools.
• Recruit, train, and supervise a skilled maintenance team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
• Collaborate with property management to ensure the smooth operation of maintenance activities.
• Respond quickly to emergency maintenance needs to minimize disruptions for residents.
