Madison Communities, based on-site in Georgia, seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead property maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and keep operations efficient to deliver outstanding resident service across our communities. You will oversee a skilled team, manage budgets, and ensure safety standards are met.

The role demands hands-on leadership with strong background in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and construction, plus a focus on resident experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum hands-on maintenance experience across electrical plumbing and carpentry.
• Experience leading a maintenance team in multifamily housing is preferred.
• EPA and Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certifications are required.
• Strong communication and resident-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Manage all maintenance tasks across electrical plumbing carpentry and mechanical systems.
• Plan and oversee the maintenance budget and parts inventory.
• Recruit train and supervise maintenance staff and ensure safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of property maintenance including electrical plumbing carpentry and mechanical systems
• Plan and oversee the maintenance budget ensuring operations stay within financial guidelines
• Maintain organized clean and safe shop areas with adequate levels of replacement parts and tools
• Recruit train and supervise a skilled maintenance team fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork
• Collaborate with property management to ensure the smooth operation of maintenance activities
• Respond quickly to emergency maintenance needs to minimize disruptions for residents
• Lead by example to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards

What Youll Bring

• Proven experience in plumbing electrical systems carpentry and construction
• Mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve challenges
• EPA Certification and Certified Pool Operator CPO certification required
• Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and inspire a team
