Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Facilities and Maintenance supervisor to oversee ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, fire protection, and warehouse systems. The role ensures safe, efficient operation and coordinating with outside contractors for maintenance and sanitation efforts.

The candidate will lead a team, manage schedules, monitor safety and regulatory compliance, and contribute to department budgeting and staffing. A strong maintenance background with leadership experience is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
• Minimum 4 years of maintenance supervisory experience, ammonia refrigeration background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance procedures for ammonia refrigeration and related systems.
• Monitor maintenance logs and schedules; coordinate outside contractors as needed.
• Manage sanitation programs and safety compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in budgeting and staffing to meet operational needs.
• Provide leadership and performance evaluations for maintenance staff.
