Maintenance Supervisor, 2nd Shift

2nd Shift 1:30pm 10:30pm

Straight time OT pay after 45 hrs. in the week

What You Will Need

• Proven leadership experience managing skilled trades personnel in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Experience developing and managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards (MIOSHA/OSHA)
• Budget planning and management capabilities
• Ability to coordinate and supervise third-party contractors
• Effective coaching, performance management, and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to set and manage priorities
• Proficiency in creating and tracking KPIs
• Experience with project coordination, including construction and equipment installations

What You Will Do

• Coordinate daily maintenance activities to support plant production and facility operations
• Inspect equipment and ensure proper functioning through preventive and predictive maintenance
• Prepare work schedules, assign repairs, and oversee timely task completion while minimizing downtime and overtime
• Supervise and develop maintenance staff, including coaching and performance management
• Enforce safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements across all maintenance operations
• Monitor tool and supply inventories; coordinate procurement of materials and services as needed
• Schedule and oversee contractor work in coordination with plant operations
• Develop and implement maintenance and safety inspection programs for equipment and facilities
• Lead and track training initiatives for staff in maintenance best practices and safety compliance
• Support various projects, including remodels and construction, from planning through execution
• Assist with preparation of contracts, RFPs/RFQs, and departmental reports
• Communicate and collaborate with engineering, production, and materials teams
• Audit completed maintenance work to ensure thoroughness, accuracy, and timeliness
• Track and report on maintenance department performance through KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives
