• College or trade School graduate and/or a combination of High School diploma

Qualifications

• College or trade School graduate and/or a combination of High School diploma with minimum 5 years of hands-on Supervisory experience in a related field
• Experience in Tier 1 automotive is a plus
• Good working knowledge of assembly, production, and welding operations
• Excellent English communication skills (oral and written)
• Good knowledge of basic computer programs
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, and the Occupational Health and Safety Act

Responsibilities

• Manage shift personnel and their assigned work
• Ensure product identification, traceability, process control, and packaging instructions are followed at all times
• Ensure compliance with Quality System and standards
• Follow first off, in-process, and last off procedures
• Perform and follow up on LPA as scheduled
• Oversee on-the-job training to meet productivity and efficiency targets within budget
• Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with other departments to prevent interruptions
• Train, develop, mentor, direct, and discipline subordinates for a safe, productive workforce
• Provide regular feedback and communicate company policies and standards
• Recommend employee confirmations or dispositions during probation
• Ensure timely completion and documentation of training
• Prepare management reports and key performance documentation
• Maintain departmental cleanliness and organization
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, environment, and PPE policies
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
