Job summary

Conifer Realty is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our affordable housing communities in Woolwich Township, NJ. The role oversees maintenance operations, ensuring safety, quality, and resident satisfaction while leading a hands-on team.

Candidate should have HVAC certification, 5+ years of maintenance experience, and strong skills in budgets, inspections, and vendor coordination. This is a full-time, on-call position with a 40-hour Mon–Fri workweek.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of apartment or residential maintenance experience, including team supervision.
• HVAC certification and knowledge of inspections, preventive maintenance, and Fair Housing.
• Expertise in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train maintenance staff to uphold Conifer’s quality and safety standards.
• Manage work orders, make-ready units, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate with the Community Manager on budgets, inspections, and resident care.
• Ensure compliance with safety and housing regulations.
• Assist with repairs, groundskeeping, and seasonal tasks when needed.

Maintenance Supervisor – Affordable Housing | Woolwich Township, NJ

Salary: $28.00 - $32.00 | Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 40hrs | On-Call Rotation

What You’ll Bring as a Maintenance Supervisor

You’re organized, dependable, and skilled in both leadership and repair work. You bring:

• 5+ years of apartment or residential maintenance experience, including team supervision.
• HVAC certification and knowledge of inspections, preventive maintenance, and Fair Housing.
• Expertise in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and safety compliance.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors, and maintenance schedules.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Yardi or similar systems.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to respond within 30 minutes for on-call emergencies.
• High school diploma or GED (technical or vocational training preferred).
