Jvis USA, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance department, lead technicians, and ensure safe, efficient operation of manufacturing equipment. You will drive preventive/predictive maintenance, coordinate repairs, and protect high uptime while coordinating with Production, Engineering and Quality teams.
The role focuses on directing maintenance priorities, troubleshooting complex systems, and developing staff to support plant operations and continuous improvement
SUMMARY: The Maintenance Supervisor's primary responsibility is to oversee the maintenance department and ensure that equipment is safely operating and meets its intended use while optimizing equipment up-time. The purpose of the Maintenance Supervisor is to lead and coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on all machines and related equipment used in manufacturing. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for directing maintenance personnel, establishing maintenance priorities, supporting troubleshooting and repairs, and driving preventative / predictive maintenance activities throughout the facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Follows all safety, housekeeping and company policies and procedures.
Coordinates and maintains all job responsibilities in a continuous and flexible manner and performs other related duties and job assignments as required.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to demonstrate above average leadership. Must have excellent people skills.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or GED preferred. Some college or technical education preferred (i.e. management, supervision). Minimum of four years of prior manufacturing experience preferred. Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, programmable controller problems. Experience in operating various machining equipment.
