DASMEN Residential is currently looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team!
Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor supervises the hands-on maintenance of the community, including inspection, repair, and general maintenance of apartments and other areas. Acts as a team leader among maintenance staff, delegating, supervising, and assisting in their work. Installs and repairs electrical systems and components of machinery and equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare apartments for market readiness, including painting, carpet cleaning, repairs, and housekeeping.
- Perform preventative maintenance and record findings.
- Conduct regular community inspections.
- Respond to service requests within 24 hours.
- Perform on-call emergency services as needed.
- Maintain grounds and communal areas, ensuring they are clean and debris-free.
- Monitor mechanical equipment such as water heaters and HVAC units.
Administrative/Leadership Functions:
- Train and supervise maintenance staff; participate in hiring and performance reviews.
- Assist in capital improvement projects.
- Ensure safety practices are followed by staff.
- Comply with Fair Housing Laws and Standards.
- Maintain communication with Property Manager and staff.
- Represent the company professionally.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least three years of hands-on maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
- Supervisory experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment.
- Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and auto insurance.
- EPA or CFC certification.
- Ability to write reports and correspondence.
- Effective speaking skills.
- Basic mathematical skills including probability, statistics, geometry, and trigonometry.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
- HVAC certification, CAMT license.

Compensation:
$21-$28/hour
