Job summary

Rochester Rehab & Living Center in Rochester, MN is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor. This is more than a job—it’s a paid opportunity to serve others, live our mission, and make a meaningful impact in a healthcare setting.

You will oversee overall maintenance of the facility, perform preventive maintenance, painting and repairs, and ensure a safe, attractive environment for residents, staff and visitors. A Life Safety Code background and a trades education are preferred.

Qualifications

• Life Safety Code experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Trade or vocational schooling with related courses preferred.
• Minimum of three years full-time experience in maintenance of equipment, utilities and buildings.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibilities for overall maintenance of facility.
• Responsible for preventive maintenance, painting and repairs to maintain a safe, attractive environment for residents, staff and visitors.
• Conducts routine tests and inspections on facility systems and implements programs aligned with facility goals.

Pay Range: $31.00-$34.00 based on years of experience
Schedule: M-F 8:00am-5:00pm, occasional on call/weekend

What You Bring (Requirements)

• Current Life Safety Code experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of trade or vocational school, with courses in blueprint reading, mechanical drawing, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC equipment, refrigeration and electricity preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years full-time experience in construction or maintenance of equipment, utilities and buildings preferred.
• Knowledge of state building, plumbing and electrical codes and ordinances.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Assumes responsibilities for overall maintenance of facility.
• Responsible for preventative maintenance, painting and repairs inside and outside the facility to provide a safe, attractive and orderly environment for the benefit, use, enjoyment protection of residents, staff and visitors.
• Conducts routine tests and inspections on various facility systems and implements programs in a manner that meet the goals and objectives of the facility.
