Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates Degree, Technical Certification, or equivalent in a technical field.

Responsibilities

• Understands and leads a safe environment conducive to productive work.
• Communicates issues and opportunities clearly to management and technicians.
• Provides leadership and determines cost-effective repairs during breakdowns.
• Updates Plant Management on facility status and potential problems.
• Collaborates with Maintenance Planner to set monthly plans and weekly workflow.
• Ensures maintenance schedule is updated weekly and KPI boards are current.
• Maintains budget and tracks weekly spare parts spending.
• Reviews completed PMs by shift to assure equipment readiness for production.
• Performs PM audits and captures weekly improvements.
• Reviews CMMS daily and instructs Technicians on corrections.
• Works with Production to ensure daily quality targets are met.
• Conducts technician evaluations and training plans.
• Leads technician meetings and communicates KPI achievements and project goals.
• Establishes a one-year training plan for Technicians.

Objective:

Coordinates a group of maintenance shifts andcontractors to assure that the facility and supporting systems remain operableto ensure production and quality goals are achieved while maintaining a safework environment. Communicates directly with Manager, Supervisors, Production,and Quality personnel and Contract Support representatives.

Main Duties:

• Understands, implements, and leads a safeenvironment, conducive to productive work
• Communicates effectively to Manager,Supervisors, and Techs all issues/opportunities in assigned areas
• Provides leadership and determines most costeffective means of performing repairs during breakdowns and repairs
• Updates Plant Management with current status ofthe facility and evaluates potential facility problems that support production
• Works with Maintenance Planner to establishmonthly plan and weekly work flow. Ensures Maintenance Schedule has beenupdated weekly according to work accomplished.
• Verifies all KPI’s and Turnover Sheets areupdated and communicated. Updates department KPI boards weekly
• Maintain and Operate workgroup to a budgetplan. Perform weekly tracking on spending – spare parts availability
• Review completed PM’s by shift assuringequipment readiness for production
• Perform PM audits and capture improvementsweekly
• Review CMMS daily, instruct Technicians oncorrections as required
• Work closely with Production to ensure Qualityis met daily
• Write and Conduct evaluations as needed
• Conduct Technician meetings: sharinginformation, KPI achievement and project implementation goals
• Establish 1 year training plan forTechnicians
• Verify Technician training plans are createdand implemented
• Provide Technicians with clear expectations andprovide corrective actions as required
