Job summary

Viwinco, Inc. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations for our Glass Shop team.

You will provide hands-on technical leadership across mechanical, electrical, and control systems while coordinating preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and keep production running smoothly and safely. • Experience leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Proficiency with CMMS for work orders, PMs, and history tracking.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians across assigned shifts.
• Plan, prioritize, and assign daily maintenance activities based on production needs.
• Provide technical support for mechanical, electrical, controls, and facility issues.
• Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance activities are completed on schedule.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and coordinate troubleshooting and repairs.
• Support RCA and corrective actions for recurring failures.
• Monitor work orders, PM completion, and downtime via the CMMS.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Safety, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Support equipment installation, startup, commissioning, and modifications.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures including LOTO and machine guarding.
• Develop technician skills through training, coaching, and hands-on support.
• Maintain effective shift handoffs and clear communication of status.

Viwinco, Inc. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations for our Glass Shop team. This role provides technical and operational leadership to maintenance technicians while coordinating preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime and keep glass production running smoothly and safely. The Maintenance Supervisor will serve as a hands‑on technical resource for mechanical, electrical, controls, and facility‑related issues, working closely with Production, Engineering, and Safety to resolve equipment challenges quickly and keep operations moving. This role is well‑suited for a maintenance leader who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, takes ownership of equipment reliability, and enjoys developing the skills of the technicians they lead.

Hours:

6:00AM- 2:30PM

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians across assigned shifts
• Plan, prioritize, and assign daily maintenance activities based on production needs and equipment priorities
• Provide technical support for mechanical, electrical, controls, and facility‑related issues
• Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance activities are completed according to schedule
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and coordinate troubleshooting and repairs
• Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective actions for recurring equipment failures
• Monitor maintenance work orders, backlog, PM completion, and equipment downtime through the CMMS
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Safety, and other departments to resolve equipment and operational issues
• Support equipment installation, startup, commissioning, and modifications
• Ensure technicians follow safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), electrical safety, and machine guarding
• Develop technician skills through training, coaching, and hands‑on support
• Ensure accurate shift handoffs and communication of equipment status and outstanding work
• Maintain proper spare parts, tools, housekeeping, and maintenance standards

Required Skills:

• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize work based on safety, production impact, and equipment criticality
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and industrial controls systems (motors, VFDs, sensors, control circuits)
• Working knowledge of PLC, HMI, and automated equipment troubleshooting
• Understanding of mechanical systems including bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, conveyors, and couplings
• Familiarity with pneumatic and basic hydraulic systems
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment documentation
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills across mechanical, electrical, controls, and operational issues
• Experience managing preventive maintenance programs and using a CMMS for work orders, PMs, and maintenance history
• Strong communication skills, particularly for shift handoffs and cross‑department coordination
• Ability to coach, train, and develop maintenance technicians
• Working knowledge of safety requirements, including LOTO, machine guarding, and electrical safety
• Ability to lead effectively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
