Position Overview

The Site Manager is responsible for facilities management and ensuring the delivery of quality facility management services. This role provides leadership and direction to their team.

Position Responsibilities:
  1. Set overall vision and leadership for the operations team.
  2. Establish and execute strategic direction for operations and maintenance team in alignment with customer goals.
  3. Supervise and coordinate all activities staff to ensure customer satisfaction.
  4. Conduct daily tours of the facility to inspect work performed.
  5. Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures in accordance with OSHA.
  6. Establish and maintain a safety-first culture by promoting and driving safe work practices.
  7. Perform Safety Observation tours and assist Safety Manager in ensuring compliance with safety rules and regulations.
  8. Develop training programs to enhance team technical capabilities.
  9. Facilitate customer review and planning meetings.
  10. Utilize data to develop trends and insights for continuous site performance improvement.
  11. Develop and maintain operating budgets for the site(s).
  12. Manage site to achieve KPIs and performance indicators.
  13. Manage budgets in accordance with scope of work.
  14. Maintain site performance indicators.
  15. Implement environmentally preferred practices at all locations.
  16. Lead or assist in site incident investigations, using structured problem solving to identify root causes.
  17. Develop and maintain positive relationships with customer representatives.
  18. Collaborate to determine client expectations.
  19. Ensure delivery of services and overall customer satisfaction.
  20. Collaborate with the operations team for continuous improvement in service quality.
  21. Responsible for staff training, development, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
  22. Develop scope of services and assist in vendor negotiations for contracts.
  23. Use of Global Manufacturing Systems.
Position Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in business administration, engineering technology, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of direct supervision in housekeeping/facility management operations required.
  • Experience managing 24/7 operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Automotive experience is preferred.
  • Exceptional customer relationship management skills.
  • Experience working with unions.
  • Ability to plan and manage within budget and time constraints.
  • Safety and quality conscious.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
