Position Summary

The primary responsibility is to maintain the Life Safety Code, physical plant, equipment, grounds, and utilities in good working order, adhering to community policies, and complying with state and federal regulations. Follow all health, sanitary, and infection control policies, maintaining standards set by the community's administration and Maintenance Policies and Procedures.

Education and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and follow instructions
• Ability to carry out verbal and written directions
• Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate with supervisors, co-workers, and staff
• Knowledge of safety and sanitary techniques
• Flexibility to work scheduled hours
• Must not pose a health or safety threat to others

Experience

• Minimum two years in environmental services, maintenance, or related trade, preferably in healthcare or hospitality
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required

Shift and Wage

• Full-Time
• Shifts: Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
• Wage: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
