Holland Sharpe Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a high-volume distribution center's maintenance team.

You will direct maintenance technicians, prioritize work, and drive reliability of conveyors, automation, PLC-based equipment, and facility systems to keep operations running smoothly. You will coach technicians, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure safe work practices while collaborating with Operations, Safety, vendors, and Facilities leadership.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on maintenance experience in distribution, manufacturing, fulfillment, warehouse, or automated material handling environment.
• Experience leading, directing, or supervising maintenance technicians or skilled trades employees.
• Working knowledge of conveyors, automated control systems, PLC-based equipment, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, facility utilities, and building infrastructure.
• Experience using CMMS platforms to manage work orders, preventive maintenance completion, backlog, asset history, and maintenance documentation.
• Experience with reliability-centered maintenance, root cause analysis, predictive maintenance, spare parts planning, and continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and direct maintenance technicians across assigned shift or area, ensuring safe, accurate work per standards.
• Plan, prioritize, and assign corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and sustain conveyors, automation, and electrical/mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot complex failures; guide root-cause thinking and sustainable corrective actions.
• Reinforce safety, lockout/tagout, electrical safety, housekeeping, and regulatory compliance during daily work.
• Use CMMS to review work orders, track completion, document repair history, monitor backlog, and support asset reliability reporting.
• Coordinate with Operations, Safety, vendors, and Facilities to align maintenance priorities with production schedules and budgets.
• Support parts planning, inventory readiness, vendor coordination, and continuous improvement to boost uptime and service levels.

OverviewThe Maintenance Supervisor provides frontline leadership for maintenance operations in a high-volume distribution center environment. This role is responsible for leading maintenance technicians, driving equipment reliability, supporting safe work practices, and ensuring building systems, material handling equipment, automation, and facility assets are maintained to support uninterrupted operations.
