Job summary

The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and executing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, rebuilds, and equipment replacements to keep production running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure plant equipment and systems are maintained in optimal operating condition and available to meet production requirements.
• Organize, plan, and coordinate routine and scheduled maintenance activities for plant equipment and systems.
• Review preventive maintenance procedures and collaborate with operations personnel to identify equipment issues, maintenance requirements, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Supervise and develop maintenance associates, ensuring compliance with company safety policies and procedures to minimize personal injury, environmental impact, and equipment damage.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following established standards and procedures and complying with applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
• Select, orient, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel, and discipline maintenance team members as appropriate.
• Evaluate the functionality and reliability of facility systems and equipment to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Analyze equipment performance and maintenance results, recommending and implementing modifications, expansions, and additions to improve reliability, efficiency, and operational performance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and production equipment issues and coordinate repairs to reduce downtime and support uninterrupted operations.
