TMS International is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Gary, Indiana to lead site maintenance operations and drive reliability.

You will oversee maintenance staff, manage work orders, emphasize safety and ISO program compliance, and coordinate with partners to keep equipment running.

Requirements include 2 years of maintenance experience, knowledge of heavy equipment, and ability to pass background checks and a pre-employment drug test; familiarity with computer systems helps.

Competenze

• 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in steel, aggregate or related industries.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs, procedures and industrial safety programs.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operations including loaders and excavators.
• Experience with computer systems to perform duties as needed.
• Must be able to pass a background screen including references and a pre-employment drug test.

Job Responsibilities

• Assists in leading site staff including safety and maintenance
• Partially responsible for the Safety/ISO program
• Performs administrative duties for the maintenance department
• Enters, tracks and completes work orders

Job Qualifications

• 2 years of maintenance experience preferably in the steel, aggregate or other related industry
• Must have experience with preventative maintenance programs, procedures and industrial safety programs
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operations including loaders and excavators
• Experience with computer systems to perform duties as needed
• Must be able to pass a background screen including reference check and a physical examination that includes a drug and alcohol pre-employment screen.
