TMS International is the leading provider of on-site, industrial steel mill services with a global footprint. The Maintenance Manager will coordinate maintenance mechanics alongside operations to deliver safe, reliable equipment for our customers in a heavy industrial setting.

The role requires a technical degree and 5+ years of mobile heavy equipment maintenance management experience, with a focus on leadership, safety, and cost control.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in mobile heavy equipment maintenance management in a heavy industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of mechanics to maintain all site equipment and machinery.
• Develop maintenance strategies, policies, and procedures to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Collaborate with operations to schedule repairs ensuring safe, reliable equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance and implement improvements.
• Ensure safety regulations and standards are followed in maintenance activities.
• Manage maintenance budgets and cost controls, including forecasting.
• Implement and maintain preventive maintenance programs.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of new equipment and mentor staff.
