Job summary

TMS International in Tuscaloosa, AL is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a shift and drive safe, efficient on-site steel mill services. You will oversee daily operations, coordinate maintenance activities, and act as a key player in delivering value to our partners.

The ideal candidate brings heavy equipment experience, a background in maintenance, and a proactive mindset to uphold company policies and operating procedures.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of heavy equipment operator experience, 2 years in Lead or Supervisor roles.
• Strong maintenance and preventative maintenance background is considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Good organizational skills and the ability to provide leadership and direction to a small workforce


• Must have knowledge/familiarity with Company preventative maintenance programs and procedures, safety programs, as well as company policies and operating procedures.


• Computer proficiency helpful.


• Strong desire to be a \"key player\"


• Leads and is in charge of a shift (turn)

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of heavy equipment operator experience, 2 years of which must have been as a Lead or Supervisor


• Will also consider an applicant with a strong maintenance and preventative maintenance background.
