Job summary

Madison Communities in Georgia is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead property maintenance across our portfolio. You will manage electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems, mentor a maintenance team, and collaborate with property management to keep residents safe and satisfied.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong troubleshooting skills, and EPA Certification plus Certified Pool Operator credentials.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and construction.
• EPA Certification and CPO certification required.
• Strong supervisory experience and ability to lead a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with a resident-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of property maintenance (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical).
• Plan and oversee maintenance budget and ensure financial guidelines.
• Maintain safe, organized shop areas and ensure adequate parts and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of property maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems.


• Plan and oversee the maintenance budget, ensuring operations stay within financial guidelines.


• Maintain organized, clean, and safe shop areas, with adequate levels of replacement parts and tools.


• Recruit, train, and supervise a skilled maintenance team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.


• Collaborate with property management to ensure the smooth operation of maintenance activities.


• Respond quickly to emergency maintenance needs to minimize disruptions for residents.


• Lead by example to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.

What You’ll Bring:

• Proven experience in plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and construction.


• Mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve challenges.


• EPA Certification and Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification (required).


• Strong supervisory experience, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.


• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a resident‑focused mindset.
