Job summary

TrinityRail Maintenance Services, Inc. in Cartersville GA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations in a production environment and lead a team to meet maintenance goals while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will manage personnel actions, coach team members, monitor schedules, and coordinate fabrication, installation, operation and repair of mechanical systems, with data entry into KRONOS, TRACS, MS Office and Excel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years maintenance experience.
• Proven experience as supervisor or in a relevant role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the group in a production environment.
• Authority for personnel action (hire, suspend, promote and discipline employees).
• Trains and ensures safety of team members.
• Monitors schedule to accomplish maintenance goals.
• Exercises independent judgment.
• Directs and coordinates fabrication, installation, operation, application, maintenance and repair of mechanical or electromechanical machines, equipment, tools, engines and systems.
• Ensures that quality levels and industry standards are maintained or improved in the manufacturing process.
• Oversees installation, operation, maintenance and repair of equipment such as centralized heat, gas, water and steam systems.
• Evaluates mechanical products to determine their cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
• Input data in KRONOS, TRACS, MS OFFICE and EXCEL and Development skills in additional Computer programs.
• Tracking Budget Expenses, Supervision, Quality Management, Safety Management, Delegation, Performance Management, Organization, Foster Teamwork, Self-Development, Giving Feedback.

What You'll Need:
