Job summary

TrinityRail Maintenance Services, Inc. in Cartersville, GA is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team.

You will perform preventative maintenance and electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs on production equipment and machinery, using schematics and test equipment. The role requires blueprints literacy, basic electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic skills and familiarity with CNC equipment, plus knowledge of HVAC system checks, troubleshooting, and charging.

Qualifications

• 2 years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent industrial maintenance certifications
• Ability to read blueprints
• Basic electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic skills, CNC equipment
• Knowledge of Industrial HVAC Systems – System checks, Troubleshooting repairs, and charging systems

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to production equipment and components
• Determine causes of operating problems using schematics and parts orders
• Perform high voltage electrical repairs (controls, relays)
• Install/repair electrical systems and components following codes and diagrams
• Lay out, build, test, troubleshoot and modify production electronic components
• Test new equipment and perform minor adjustments as needed
• Maintain and complete all required records
• Follow all safety rules and practices
• May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Basic troubleshooting / 3 Phase / equipment up to 600v

What You'll Do:

• Perform preventative maintenance and electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs to production and mechanical equipment, machinery and components
• Determine causes of operating problems, consults schematics and orders replacement parts
• Perform high voltage electrical repairs (e.g. controls, relays)
• Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment, following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications using electrical and electronic test equipment
• Lays out, builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs and modifies production electronic components, parts, switch panels etc
• May test new equipment and troubleshoots operation and makes minor adjustments to equipment
• Maintains and completes all required records
• Follows all safety rules and practices
• May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Basic troubleshooting / 3 Phase / equipment up to 600v
