Maintenance Supervisor

Automation Personnel Services is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for a company based in Baytown, TX. The Maintenance Tech will be responsible for maintaining warehouse package equipment and conveying equipment, including palletizers, FFS bag packaging equipment, stretch wrappers, and stretch hooding equipment. Other duties as assigned.

Pay Rate

$35.00 - $50.00 DOE

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Maintain warehouse including dock doors, painting, welding, plumbing, and small concrete jobs.
• Complete emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report unusual situations.
• Understand the operation of the FFS packaging line.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Perform plumbing and carpentry functions.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
• Fix safety hazards to prevent incidents.
• Rebuild machinery for the packaging line as needed.
• Prioritize responsibilities, investigate, and resolve problems.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 10+ years of mechanical maintenance experience with packaging equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic understanding of electrical Milliamp power distribution.
• Ability to analyze documents and repair manuals.
• Own hand tools required.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and respond to callouts.
• Effective verbal communication and team leadership skills.
• Ability to lift/move up to 60 lbs.
