JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

This role oversees and performs technical and mechanical work to ensure that the community's buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist with and complete work orders from resident requests, diagnosing issues and making repairs following safety standards and policies.
  2. Oversee and complete the "make-ready" process for vacant units, including inspections, scheduling, and ensuring quality work completion.
  3. Develop standards for community grounds and amenities to reflect high quality and community standards.
  4. Inspect work by service team members and contractors to ensure quality and scope adherence.
  5. Maintain inventory of parts and materials, and coordinate with management for supplies within budget.
  6. Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled and outlined in policies.
  7. Support cost control initiatives by fixing rather than replacing parts and practicing resource efficiency.
  8. Conduct safety meetings, ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety laws, and keep safety documentation current.
  9. Provide excellent customer service by respecting residents, responding to inquiries and complaints promptly.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage range for this position is $24.00 - $33.00, with additional compensation factors including experience, location, and business needs. Eligibility for bonus programs varies by role and performance.
