Job summary

NewCold is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Atlanta-area warehouse to oversee the maintenance and sanitation teams on site. You will drive preventive maintenance, oversee repairs to conveyors, cranes, cooling systems, and other automated equipment using Fiix CMMS, and ensure operations run safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has 8–10+ years of maintenance experience, 1–2 years of supervision, and strong knowledge of PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens) with electrical/mechanical

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of maintenance experience.
• 1-2 years of team lead or supervision experience.
• Strong knowledge of troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of automated machinery (conveyors, automated cranes, palletizers).
• Electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical knowledge; PLC experience (Allen Bradley, Siemens).

Responsibilities

• Supervise the maintenance and sanitation team on site.
• Lead preventive maintenance tasks and repairs in a timely, safe manner.
• Direct daily maintenance operations and provide ongoing development for staff.
• Maintain equipment per supplier guidelines and ensure safe operation.
• Work within budgets and achieve KPIs.
• Collaborate with suppliers/contractors for training and compliance.
• Complete internal reporting and communication as required by Site Manager.
• Develop understanding of site equipment and contracts including cooling systems and other installations.

Your role as a Maintenance Supervisor

Key responsibilities

Position Overview

NewCold is growing at a rapid pace, and we have an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor at our warehouse to effectively supervise the maintenance and sanitation teamon site and provide a level of service in line with technical requirements. To undertake preventativemaintenance and repairs to all relevant equipment on site, to help ensure the effective running of the warehousefunction utilizing Fiix our CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) software. Direct and lead themaintenance teams daily functions. Conduct and assist in training and ongoing developmentopportunities. Maintain a professional culture on site and a commitment to Health & Safety, in line with company values.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure all equipment is used and maintained in line with supplier’sguidelines. This will include conveyors, cranes, cooling systems, fire protection, freeze doors, oxygen reduction andother installations.
• Create and plan Preventative Maintenance tasks or repairs to be carried outin a timely and safe manner, minimizing disruption to the operation.
• Working within budgeted guidelines, and achieving agreed KPIs.
• Follow maintenance plan in the most efficient way to ensure minimal impact onthe operation, but in a routine which achieves supplier guidelines as a minimum.
• Direct and lead sanitation team to maintain site cleanliness and appearance.
• Ensure that all work is completed in a safe and timely manner.
• Work closely with equipment suppliers and /or contractors to ensure propertraining of maintenance technicians.
• Complete agreed internal reporting and communication as required by Sitemanager.
• Develop a understanding of all equipment and contracts on site includingcooling systems, oxygen reduction, doors etc.
• Commit to ongoing self and team development through internal and externalresources.
• Meet the physical demands of the Maintenance and Operator team roles.
• All other duties as assigned.
