Job summary

NewCold is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the on-site maintenance and sanitation teams at our rapid-growth warehouse. You will oversee preventative maintenance, repairs, and compliance with technical requirements to keep the facility operating at peak efficiency.

The role requires 8–10+ years in maintenance, 1–2 years of supervisory experience, and strong knowledge of automated systems, PLCs, and electrical/mechanical disciplines. Growth opportunities exist in a dynamic, global company.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of maintenance experience.
• 1-2 years of team lead or supervision experience.
• Strong knowledge of troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of automated machinery.
• Electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical knowledge.
• Knowledge of PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens).

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site maintenance and sanitation teams and ensure service aligns with technical requirements.
• Undertake preventative maintenance and repairs to equipment to keep warehouse operations running smoothly.
• Lead maintenance tasks within budgeted guidelines and meet KPIs.
• Develop and execute maintenance plans with safety as a priority.
• Coordinate with suppliers/contractors for training and uptime optimization.
• Report on-site activities and collaborate with Site Manager on improvements.
• Maintain understanding of equipment contracts and ongoing staff development.

Your role as a Maintenance Supervisor

Key responsibilities:

Position Overview

NewCold is growing at a rapid pace, and we have an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor at our warehouse to effectively supervise the maintenance and sanitation team on site and provide a level of service in line with technical requirements. To undertake preventative maintenance and repairs to all relevant equipment on site, to help ensure the effective running of the warehouse function utilizing Fiix our CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) software. Direct and lead the maintenance teams daily functions. Conduct and assist in training and ongoing development opportunities. Maintain a professional culture on site and a commitment to Health & Safety, in line with company values.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure all equipment is used and maintained in line with supplier's guidelines. This will include conveyors, cranes, cooling systems, fire protection, freeze doors, oxygen reduction and other installations.
• Create and plan Preventative Maintenance tasks or repairs to be carried out in a timely and safe manner, minimizing disruption to the operation.
• Working within budgeted guidelines, and achieving agreed KPIs.
• Follow maintenance plan in the most efficient way to ensure minimal impact on the operation, but in a routine which achieves supplier guidelines as a minimum.
• Direct and lead sanitation team to maintain site cleanliness and appearance.
• Ensure that all work is completed in a safe and timely manner.
• Work closely with equipment suppliers and/or contractors to ensure proper training of maintenance technicians.
• Complete agreed internal reporting and communication as required by Site manager.
• Develop a understanding of all equipment and contracts on site including cooling systems, oxygen reduction, doors etc.
• Commit to ongoing self and team development through internal and external resources.
• Meet the physical demands of the Maintenance and Operator team roles.
• All other duties as assigned.
