Linde Inc. in East Chicago, IN seeks a Maintenance Superintendent to lead daily maintenance for Air Separation and Hydrogen facilities. You will plan, prioritize, and direct maintenance activities ensuring safe and reliable equipment performance.

You will oversee CMMS processes, drive backlog reduction, coordinate shutdowns, and lead continuous improvement in reliability programs. Strong leadership and RCA skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in industrial maintenance/reliability or ten+ years in progressive maintenance roles.
• Supervisory experience leading maintenance personnel in an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of rotating and fixed equipment and related maintenance practices.
• Experience with preventive/predictive maintenance and reliability-centered maintenance.
• Ability to lead RCAs, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily maintenance operations for Air Separation and Liquid Hydrogen facilities to ensure safe, reliable equipment performance.
• Manage CMMS processes, backlog, work orders, scheduling, and closure.
• Optimize maintenance programs with predictive maintenance, KPI analysis, and continuous improvements.
• Direct planned and unplanned shutdowns, coordinating with operations, engineering, and leadership to minimize downtime.
• Provide technical troubleshooting, lead RCA efforts, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage maintenance budgets, contractor performance, and spare parts inventory.
