Job summary

East Chicago, IN-based Linde seeks a Maintenance Superintendent to lead daily maintenance for Air Separation and Liquid Hydrogen facilities, directing planning, scheduling, and safe operations.

You will oversee CMMS, backlog, and work execution while optimizing preventive/predictive programs, leading turnarounds, and driving asset reliability and cost control across rotating and fixed equipment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of industrial maintenance/reliability experience.
• 5+ years supervisory experience leading maintenance teams in industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of rotating/fixed equipment and preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Experience with NFPA 70E and environmental, health & safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily maintenance operations to ensure safe, reliable equipment performance.
• Direct CMMS processes, backlog management, and work order execution.
• Plan and implement preventive/predictive maintenance programs and RCA.
• Coordinate shutdowns with operations, engineering, and contractors.
• Manage maintenance budgets, parts inventory, and contractor performance.
