Job summary

Weyerhaeuser Company in Greenville Lumber facility, Grifton, NC, seeks a Maintenance Superintendent to lead reliability and maintenance process improvements across the mill. You will manage maintenance activities, coach staff, and partner with operations to maximize safety and productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years in a maintenance leadership role in an industrial environment.
• Demonstrated success in developing and leading a maintenance team/organization.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with reliable maintenance methods.
• Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively at all levels in the organization.
• Knowledge and understanding of labor relations principles preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage supervisors and work closely with other superintendents and managers.
• Good mechanical aptitude and experience with preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
• Excellent planning and organization skills.
• Ability to facilitate and lead people through multiple priorities in a changing environment.
• Proficient computer skills in MS Office, other windows-based programs, and internet skills.
• Experience with SAP or other CMMS programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage all maintenance activities with safety of associates as the highest priority.
• Lead preventive & predictive maintenance and process reliability initiatives.
• Improve key performance indicators and drive continuous maintenance improvements.
• Coach, mentor and develop maintenance associates.
• Lead capital projects and problem-solving activities.
• Ensure purchasing follows established policies and procedures.
• Support and improve CMMS-related processes for reliability.
