Job summary

SIMCO, LLC in Carlsbad, New Mexico seeks a Project Subcontractor Technical Representative – Maintenance Subcontracts to oversee field construction activities and manage up to fifteen subcontracts. This role requires coordinating with project controls, management, construction, and engineers, while enforcing contract terms and safety.

You will lead diverse teams, ensure schedule and cost discipline, and guide subcontractor performance from award through closeout, with a strong focus on safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years managing construction projects or service contracts.
• Associate’s degree with 9 years managing construction projects or service contracts.
• High School Diploma with 13 years managing construction projects or service contracts.
• Must be at least 18 years old; U.S. citizenship is required in most cases.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct field construction activities for assigned projects.
• Coordinate technical scopes of work with project controls, management, construction, and subcontractors.
• Enforce contract terms, schedules, and safety standards on site.
• Manage subcontractor productivity, schedule adherence, and invoicing.
• Close out subcontracts and assist in final modifications and evaluations.
