Job summary

Troon, headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, is seeking a Maintenance Staff member for its Sereno Canyon property. You will perform daily repairs and general maintenance across facilities and grounds to ensure smooth operation in a hospitality-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform the duties of the job (e.g. communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers).

Responsibilities

• Performs general repairs and maintenance for all areas within the operation including electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of the buildings and grounds.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of exterior of the facility including emptying trash cans, sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furniture.
• Assures maintenance of the tennis courts and swimming pool.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of interior areas of the facility including emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and arranging furniture.
• Identifies and reports to supervisor when supplies are needed.
• Performs other duties as required.

General Purpose

Physical Demands

Environment/Noise

Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions, near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles. Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.
