Job summary

Timber Creek Property Owners Association in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a full-time Maintenance Staff to repair and maintain facilities, offices, public spaces, and grounds.

The ideal candidate will perform electrical, mechanical, and structural repairs and ensure cleanliness of exterior and interior areas. You will identify supply needs and maintain reliable attendance while performing additional duties as required.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Electrical, mechanical, and structural repairs of buildings and grounds.
• Keep exterior areas clean including trash, litter, and furniture.
• Keep interior areas clean including trash, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and furniture arrangement.
• Identify and report supply needs to supervisor.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

General Purpose

Provides daily repair and maintenance services for all aspects of the operation, including offices, public spaces, restroom facilities, grounds and other areas as required.

• Performs general repairs and maintenance for all areas with in the operation including but not limited to: electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of the buildings and grounds.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of exterior of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furniture.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of interior areas of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and arranging furniture.
• Identify and report to supervisor when supplies are needed.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience

Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Physical Demands

Frequently uses hands, reaches with hands and arms. Regularly climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, crawls, stands, walks, sits. Frequently lifts or carries up to 50 pounds.

Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions, near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles. Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.
