Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to ensure Mobile Storage equipment meets quality and readiness standards and to provide exceptional service.

You will perform maintenance and minor repairs, check rental units for damage, verify safety decals and operating condition, clean equipment and maintain a tidy work area, and participate in painting fleet assets as directed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Effective communication, multi-tasking and strong teamwork skills.
• Diligent attention to safety.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Demonstrate proper usage of hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance, minor repairs and cleaning of units in a timely manner.
• Check equipment for damage upon return.
• Inspect rental equipment for safety decals, safety compliance, and good working order.
• Clean all equipment and maintain a clean work area.
• Paint fleet equipment as directed.
• Operate equipment in a safe manner.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
