Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a motivated Mobile Storage Technician to perform cleaning, painting, and basic repairs to keep storage units rental-ready. You will assist with yard organization, oversee simple repairs, and operate forklifts following lockout/tagout procedures, all while maintaining safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent and a mechanical aptitude, with attention to detail and the ability to read and write.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Hands-on, general maintenance or warehouse experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and write clearly and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean, prep, and paint units to make them rental-ready including minor repairs.
• Clean interiors and exteriors of storage containers and modular offices.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment safely to stage and move units.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee workflow to maximize shop productivity and safety.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow 5S guidelines.
• Support technicians and learn basic repairs and service calls.
