Job summary

Cencora's American Health Packaging in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to support routine preventive maintenance and small process adjustments on a Monday–Friday schedule with four mandatory weekend shifts for quarterly maintenance.

You will validate records, communicate risks, and coordinate with teams to ensure accuracy, traceability, and regulatory compliance while keeping equipment running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance or related field.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Certification in maintenance, technical operations, or equipment handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements minor process adjustments that improve accuracy, efficiency, and reduce rework.
• Communicates status updates and risk information to support timely resolution and alignment.
• Validates records, reports, and outputs to ensure accuracy, traceability, and compliance with standards.
• Escalates complex or atypical issues with clear context, actions taken, and recommended next steps.
• Organizes personal work queue to maintain service levels and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Assists with follow-up activity needed to close routine maintenance and documentation items.
