Boca West Country Club is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Specialist to join our Engineering Department. The role involves maintaining and repairing club facilities, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure a safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environment for members and staff.

Responsibilities include routine inspections, responding to requests, diagnosing issues, and collaborating on events. Strong troubleshooting, toolkit skills, and a valid driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

No high school diploma or equivalency required.
Driver's license required.
Proven experience in facilities maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or related fields.
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility for emergency repairs outside regular hours.

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other mechanical equipment.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and address issues efficiently.
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and facility problems, implementing solutions to minimize downtime.
Assist in the installation, repair, and replacement of fixtures, appliances, and building components.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and parts inventory.
Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to support events and facility upgrades.
Ensure the maintenance area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
