Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our Clubhouse and facilities in top condition. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot systems, and ensure safety for staff and guests at the Boynton Beach location.

The role requires 3-5 years in building upkeep, strong mechanical skills, the ability to work evenings and weekends, and a willingness to read and follow blueprints. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3-5 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience in a Country Club and Hospitality maintenance a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform or assist in preventative maintenance programs.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical to include light switches, receptacles, breakers, motors, light fixtures, bulbs, ballasts/drivers, and ceiling fans, etc.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair plumbing to include faucets, sinks, drains, toilets, urinals, flush valves and water valves. Clears plumbing blockages using a plunger, hand snake or electrical drain snake, etc.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair carpentry to include cabinet repairs, wood and metal door and door hinges, closures, locksets, light furniture repairs, picture and mirror installation, shelving installation, etc.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair finishes to include small drywall repairs, priming and final coats of paint with usage of brush, roller or sprayer, wallpaper, textured surfaces etc.
• Pressure cleans buildings, walkways, cart paths, and assists in drain line jetting, etc.
• Drives a golf cart or company truck/van.
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop, club, and workspace.
• Perform any additional tasks as requested by Facilities leadership.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Maintenance Technician keeps the physical structure, appearance and associated equipment of the Club in good working order by performing the following duties.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma, or GED preferred
• 3-5 years of experience is preferred in all aspects of building maintenance and repairs
• Experience in a Country Club and Hospitality maintenance a plus

Licenses or Certificates
